Connections
Active Participation
At Beaumaris Secondary College, our community connections inform our culture and we strive to ensure that our students contribute in a meaningful way to the community and emerge from school as informed community members.
We have students leading the way, playing key roles at community events, as we engage with our local clubs, businesses and community groups. We also share our magnificent spaces with the wider community.
Working within our Community
Our students are continually contributing to the community they live in, with projects including:
- Bayside City Council’s Intergenerational iPad project
- Victoria Police for Community Safe Plate Day
- Marine Education Science and Community Centre (MESAC)
- Friends of Longhollow Heathland
- Ricketts Point Marine Sanctuary
Our partnership with the Melbourne Cricket Club gives us access to world class sporting facilities, and allows us to host many clubs and local sporting groups who also utilise these outstanding grounds.
We are well supported by our local council, state and federal members who contribute to school events and support the social and emotional wellbeing of our students and staff.
