Committee members help guide the Parents' Association throughout the year. If you are passionate about building a strong school community and would like to take on a more active role, we would love to hear from you.
Committee roles involve assisting with planning events, coordinating activities and helping to shape the direction of our parent group. No prior experience is needed—just enthusiasm and a willingness to contribute!
Committee members are elected at our AGM, which is held in April each year. A small gold coin donation is required to become a financial member, and all members must hold a valid Working with Children Check.
Why Join the Parents' Association?
We welcome and encourage all parents and carers to participate, regardless of availability or previous volunteer experience. Any contribution is invaluable.
We organise and hold social events for the parent and school community, including a biennial twilight festival, annual year level social catch-ups, coffee mornings, and the like. These events provide opportunities for parents to come together, share experiences and strengthen the bonds within our school community.
Your questions, ideas and feedback are essential to us. Feel free to connect with our dedicated committee members via bscparentsassociation@gmail.com. We are here to listen, collaborate and work together to make Beaumaris Secondary an even better place for our students and their families.
