Students from Year 7 to 12 showcased their strategic brilliance at Brighton Grammar today under the expert guidance of Leonid Sandler, International Chess Master and FIDE Trainer! Congratulations to Tass C (Year 9), for finishing equal first for the second time against about 200 opponents, including some of the country's best young chess players. He is a rising star in the game! Once again, our captains Xavier C and Beau D from Year 11 were the heart and soul of the team, playing well, encouraging everyone, and setting an excellent cultural tone for the group.
