Today, our VCE Business Management students delved into the world of motivation strategies in sports with the remarkable Jen Watt, CEO North Melbourne Football Club. As the 2nd female CEO in AFL history, her expertise in people management provided invaluable insights. From performance-related pay to stakeholder dynamics, Jen shared real-world examples that resonate with our curriculum. It's these tangible connections that truly enhance learning experiences.

We've had the pleasure of hosting teachers from neighbouring primary schools over the past couple of weeks! We’re thrilled to showcase The Beaumaris Way and our top-notch facilities. Some of our students may have spotted their former mentors! Looking forward to welcoming even more local educators next term.

Huge congratulations to our Year 7 Girls Volleyball team for clinching the Division Championship title! Defeating both Sandringham and Westall in thrilling matches, they've secured their spot in the Southern Region finals next term. Go Beauie!

A HUGE congratulations to Eve A who set a Kingston Division Record in the 50m freestyle and broke two Southern Metropolitan Region records; 50m freestyle and 100m freestyle. Way to go, Eve!

Year 8 prodigy Tass C has led our Beauy chess team to the state finals, finishing outright 1st ahead of a current U14 national champion and about 240 other Year 7-12 students competing in the regional open championships at Brighton Grammar today.

An incredible display of talent by our students at Regional swimming, finishing 5th overall! Huge applause to Eve A, Keegan B, Kiara M, Louis S and Will P for clinching first place in their events and securing a spot in the State Championships next term! Not to forget our two relay teams representing the college who broke the Female 17yo Freestyle Relay Record for the Southern Metropolitan Region (SMR)! Special shout-out to Eve A for smashing TWO SMR records! Go Beaumaris!

The VCE Vocational Major Year 11 students organised the first-ever BSC Ride2School Day, with over 78% of students riding, walking, or taking public transport to school! Kudos to all participants who embraced the initiative, and a big shout-out to Nippy’s and Carman’s for their generosity! Active communities are great communities!
